The Vintage Wedding Trend
le February 11, 2013
We have all seen the pictures of Kate Moss and Jamie Hince's vintage wedding.
Since then, vintage weddings are trendy. Cotton candy machines, retro decor and dress-codes, nothing is missing.
The reception venue is the key element of a vintage wedding. The bride and groom have the choice between a castle, ideal for a romantic princess wedding or a large green park dotted with flowers, and shade arbors.
For a retro successful, it is recommended to use the service of a jazz band, a group of rock and roll or a DJ to liven up the party with classic 60s.
As for the decoration, don't forget the porcelain, lace tablecloths, silverware, candelabra, candlesticks, and other glass engraved, not to mention satin, silk and lace.
The bride's dress, another very important element of vintage wedding is to choose in harmony with the selected theme: a long dress with lace fluid of 20 years or a shorter dress, but bulky.
Finally, small details help to accentuate the back of a wedding: table names borrowed from the great writers or famous people of the 18th century, a seating chart declined on a velvet-covered frame or centerpieces consisting of large candy bowls.
